Yes. Many people join on their own, and the group bonds very quickly.
What time and where does the tour start and finish?
On the first day of the tour, we will meet at 11:00 a.m. at La Ponderosa Café, a 5-minute walk from the airport.
Those who wish can enjoy a drink there, and in the meantime we will hold a presentation and a short briefing with important information for the entire week. After the presentation, we will transfer by van to the starting point of the tour, which will depend on the wind and weather conditions.
On the last day, we will finish at 2:00 p.m. at Restaurante Vista al Puerto in San Antonio. There, we will have access to a swimming pool with a shower. A table will be reserved for anyone who would like to stay for a farewell lunch.
The bus line that goes to the AIRPORT is L09, and the line to the Ibiza PORT is L08.

I have no experience kayaking and I'm not athletic, but I'm healthy and I like adventure. Is that a problem?
There’s no problem if you don’t have any kayaking experience, but it’s important to be adaptable and aware that it’s a physical activity that requires being healthy and somewhat fit. If you think you can do it, you’ll do it, and we’ll help you. We teach basic sea kayaking skills and we travel with a support boat. The group is also well-suited to everyone. The question is, are you willing to have a good time and adapt to the group? If your answer is yes, then you can kayak around Ibiza without any problem.
Is it physically demanding?
It’s a progressive challenge, designed to be enjoyed with a reasonable level of fitness. We paddle an average of 17 km per day.
Everyone can do it — and you will too! Plus, we have a support boat alongside us.
I tend to get seasick. Can I kayak around Ibiza?
Yes, you can, but bring Biodramina pills for seasickness, preferably with caffeine. If you don’t know whether you get seasick or not, it’s best to bring a box of pills just in case. In case of seasickness, you will be taken on the support boat to the nearest cove, and once there, seasickness will pass in about 15 minutes.
I have quite a bit of experience in kayaking and usually go in closed kayaks, is this the place for me?
Our kayaks are open touring (self-draining) and suitable for adventure. But if you’re looking for something more professional, this might not be the place for you. Also, for group safety, we always carry several double kayaks, and you’ll have to paddle in a double kayak someday. If this isn’t for you, you can explore other options. However, if you still want to come, we’d be happy to share our knowledge with you.
Can I come on my own?
What kind of people join?
All kinds of people take part. Over the 15 years we’ve been running this experience, participants have ranged in age from 14 to 74.
If you enjoy adventure, can swim, and are in reasonably good shape, there’s no doubt you’ll love it.
What are the kayaks like?
We use two kayak models. The single kayak is the Disco Rotomod, and the double kayak is the Ocean Duo Rotomod.
Please note that all participants rotate between single and double kayaks (for logistical and safety reasons).
You can check the specifications of our kayaks here

Are there toilets and showers?
Each day, at some point, we will find access to a toilet. There are no showers.
The sea water in Ibiza is very clean, and in practice, this is something people rarely worry about.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If sea conditions make it impossible to complete a stage, we will arrange an alternative plan (a short hike, a visit to a lighthouse or a watchtower, etc.).
If rain is forecast, we will set up a tarp for shelter. In case of a storm, the group will be taken to a safe place.
What happens if I arrive later than the meeting time?
If your flight is delayed for any reason, don’t worry. Please note that the meeting point is at La Ponderosa Café at 11:00 a.m. on the first day, and we will be there for approximately one hour.
If you arrive within that hour, perfect. If not, you can take a taxi to the starting point of the tour. Call us and we’ll find a solution.
